With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maxine C. Boekelman of Britt, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Schaefer and Alice Schaefer; her parents-in-law, Heyo and Jennie Boekelman; and her brother-in-law George Boekelman.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Boekelman of Britt; her children, Ramona Jacobson (Michael) of Ottosen and Paul Boekelman (Amy) of Britt; her granddaughter Jennifer Pierce (Dustin) of Clive; her great grandchildren, Aiden and Ali; her grandchildren, Marcus Jacobson of Ankeny and Megan Watson (Luke) of Iowa City; her great grandchildren, Penelope and Rose; her grandson Benjamin Jacobson (Karlee) of Marion; her great grandchild Dawson; and her sisters, Beverly Cataldo (Dean) of Garner and Doris Boekelman of Britt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
