Sara Hunter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Hunter of Britt, Iowa, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Benjamin, Mabel Barkema, Doc and Evelyn Hunter. She is survived by: her parents, Pete Hunter and Cindy Hunter of Britt, Iowa; her sister Ashley; her brother-in-law Jess Recknor of Britt, Iowa; and her niece Rylan Recknor. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Junior Shorthorn Foundation or the Iowa Junior Shorthorn Association in Sara's honor.
