It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stanley J. Mayland Sr. of Britt, Iowa, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walbert Sr. Mayland and Caroline Mayland (Meyer); and his sisters, Esther Shannon, Carol Ann Mayland and Mary Ellen Mayland.

He is survived by : his caregivers, Sheila Hoveland (Rod) of Woden and Brandon Poncin (Tina) of Pocahontas; his sisters, June Ache (Eldon) of Kanawha and Walbert Jr. Mayland (Gloria) of Iowa Falls; and his children, Glynis Collins of Henderson, Nevada, Stanley John Wayne Mayland of Las Vegas and Andy Mayland of Las Vegas. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
