He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Tripp and Myrna Tripp (Hughes); his wife Gloria Tripp; his sister Sandy Christiansen; his brother-in-law Franklin Larson; and his niece Amy.
He is survived by: his daughter Evalyn McInnes (John); his grandchildren, Kaylee Coe (Hayden), Evianna and Declan McInnes; his great grandchildren, Karter and Haisley; and his siblings, Dennis Tripp (Micki), Dean Tripp, Marcia Larson and Sheila Marzen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
The military honors was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Amsterdam Township Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Ewing Funeral Home (118 E 2nd St, Kanawha, IA 50447). Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
