She was predeceased by: her parents, Selmer Nelson and Jeanie Nelson (Carroll); her husband Dale Lippincott; her son John Dale; and her siblings, Elmer, Carroll (Kelly), Thomas, Dale, Mildred and Verna.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Beck (Melvin) of Grinnell and Joyce Paynter (Donald) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Chad Beck (Gina) of Grinnell, Brent Beck (Jodee) of Cedar Rapids, Natalie Pavey (Eric) of Grinnell, Thomas Paynter (Elizabeth) of Eagle River and Bradley Paynter (Lindsay) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Brody Beck (Josie) of Grinnell, Brock Beck of Grinnell, Kayne Pavey of Grinnell, Malynn Pavey, Brielle Phifer (Joshua) of Ankeny, Riley Beck of Tampa, Carley Beck, Brandon, Ashlyn Paynter of Eagle River, Ansel and Eleanor Paynter of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and her great great grandchildren, Ivey, Nora, Jay Beck of Grinnell and Beckett Phifer of Ankeny. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (603 Clay St, Brooklyn, IA 52211). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Grace United Methodist Church, Brooklyn, Iowa, or a local community organization of choice, and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 342, Brooklyn, IA 52211.
