He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Thompson (Vine) of Decorah; his wife Mary Jo Thompson of Brooklyn; his children, Jordan Thompson of Phoenix, AZ, Jack, Gracie and Jamie Thompson of Brooklyn; his grandchildren, Ana and Simon; his children, Justus Thompson of Des Moines and Jana Thompson of Brooklyn; his grandchildren, Tyrek, Tyrus and Tempo; his child Jawny Massengale (Colton) of Brooklyn; his grandchildren, Josey and Jones; his children, Ahmed Noman of Yemen, Elena Bulatova of Ukraine and Raffy Rifaie of Palestine; and his siblings, Jon Thompson of Calmar and Julie Barry (Jim) of Silver Spring, MD.
