He is survived by: his children, David Walford (Anne) of Grinnell, Mark Walford (Joan) of Glencoe, MN, Jeanne Hollopeter (Tom) of Grinnell, Mary Ohler (Lee) of Brooklyn and Jennifer Bidler of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Lukas Walford (Alyssa), Jakob Walford, Kristin Kahout (Jeremy), Heather Hollopeter, Lisa Hollopeter, Amy Arens (Nick), Megan Kautzer (Nivek) and Olivia Ohler; his great grandchildren, Charles, Margaret Walford, Oliver, Nelson Walford, Emma, Brooke, Jessa Kahout, Chryton, Graydon, Daxtyn Arens, Hailey, Henry and Peyton Kautzer; Deb Walford.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (603 Clay St, Brooklyn, IA 52211).
