He is survived by: his son Rod (Lisa); his grandson Sam (Katie); his great grandchildren, Clare, John Thomas and Leo Robert; his grandson Ben Pritchard (Mckenzie) of Cedar Rapids; and his sister Marilyn Ireland (Harold) of Ballwin, Missouri..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Geneseo Methodist Church or Hospice of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa.
