He was predeceased by: his sister Shirley Turner. He is survived by: his parents, Loren Christie and Winnifred Anderson Christie of Keithsburg; his wife Rita Dinwiddie; and his sons, Aaron Christie of Burlington and Zach Christie (Breann) of Burlington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
