With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albin Nelson Jr. of Burlington, Iowa, born in West Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albin Victor and Florence Nelson (Bush); his former wife Jacqueline Westfall; his wife Wanda Pope of Herrin, IL.; his son-in-law David Fitch; and his grandson Jerry Nelson.

He is survived by: his children, Tim Nelson (Luana) of Forney, TX, Rex Nelson (Christine) of Sheridan, IL. and Cindy Fitch of Cedar Rapids; his close friend Jean Salisbury of Burlington; and his grandchild Sixteen.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials have been established for Hamilton-Walters Marine Corps.
