She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter J. Maurer and Lola Mae Maurer; and her brothers, Robert Maurer and Milton Edward Maurer. She is survived by: her siblings, Walter Ray Maurer of Pinehurst, NC and Lola M. Maurer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established for Our Savior Lutheran Church.
