It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anne Wischmeier of Burlington, Iowa, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on March 13, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Wende and Mary Lulu Arnold Merriam; her siblings, Helen Stewart and Robert Merriam; and her grandson James Wischmeier.

She is survived by: her spouse Ebert Edward Wischmeier; her children, Dan Wischmeier (Julie) of Burlington, Jeffrey Wischmeier (Lisa) of Clinton, IA and Wende Eoff (Ron) of Dallas, TX; her grandchild Jodan Wischmeier of Los Angeles, CA; her stepgrandsons, Bradley Howell (Kiera) of Iowa City and Jordan Howell (Sarah) of Burlington; and her friend Jorge Galindez (Maria) of Argentina. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial has been established for Bethany Lutheran Church.
