With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara LaVon Lietsch of Burlington, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Mitchley and Peggy Austen Mitchley; her husband Tom Lietsch; her children, Eric Lietsch (Jennifer) of Burlington, IA and Stacia Mattan (Curt) of Monmouth, IL; her grandchildren, Ming Sattler (Tate), Mei Lietsch, John Mattan and Molly Mattan; her great grandchild Wesley Sattler; and her siblings, John Mitchley, Lisa Person, Margaret Bell and Lorraine.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (200 S Gear Ave, West Burlington, IA 52655).
