She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Stevenson and Esteline Stevenson; her husband Wayne Pettinger; her brothers, Robert Louis Stevenson, J. R. Stevenson, Sam Stevenson, Bill Stevenson and Wendall Stevenson; and her siblings-in-law, Crafton Meeker, Vernadine and Bernita Stevenson.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Bjork of Midlothian, IL, Patti Douglas (Rick) of Sterling, IL and Steve Pettinger (Karen) of St. Joseph, MI; her grandchildren, Eric Douglas (Sarah) of Clinton, IL and Kate Niewind (Derek) of Bonaire, GA; her great grandchildren, Adley, Harper Niewind, Lily and Delilah Douglas; her sisters, Marie Meeker of Mediapolis and Angeline Anderson of Gladstone, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Stevenson of Gladstone, IL, Kay Stevenson of Oquawka, IL and Dolores Stevenson of Burlington. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice or the Henderson County Library.
