Bette Tarrence Obituary

The memory of Bette Tarrence of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Ellworth and Florence Lucille Henessee Seager; her brother Robert Seager; and her brothers-in-law, John "Gil" Rheinschmidt and Darrell Tarrence.

She is survived by: her husband Duane Tarrence of Burlington; her children, Chad Tarrence (Gina) of Burlington and Carie Edwards (Jason) of New London; her grandchildren, Mikaela, Chance and Cason; her sisters, Connie Rheinschmidt of Middletown and Tresea Swan (John) of Olathe, KS; and her brothers-in-law, Dale Tarrence (Cindy) of Mt Pleasant and Dennis Tarrence. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials have been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice and Special Needs Foundation.
