She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lippert and Hattie Trobee Lippert; her spouse Hartley Allen McPherson; and her siblings, Clarence, Glenn, Oscar, Ralph, Walter, Donald, Melva, Gladys, Ruth and Genevieve.
She is survived by: her children, Gary McPherson of Burlington, Cynthia Decious (Lynn) of Anamosa and Michael McPherson (Alla) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Jason, Kristen, Dane and Joshua; her great grandchildren, Devon, Cole, Keigan and Jaxtin; and her great great grandchildren, Ya'Zier, Isabella and Cameron. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for Oak Street Baptist Church.
