She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Frakes and Mary Frakes (Parker); her husband Dick; and her siblings, Henry Frakes and Norma Jean Pleasant.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda F. Hind (Nick) of Burlington and Bryan L. Perkins (Julie) of West Burlington; her grandchildren, Andrew Olson (Jessica) of Kansas City, Alexander Schupick of Myrtle Beach, Braydon Perkins of West Burlington and Jared Perkins of West Burlington; and her sisters, Shirley Willeford of Burlington, Sandy Marquis of Rushville, Mary Lynn Bussanmas (Craig) of Garfield and April Vaughn of Macomb. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials have been established for the American Cancer Society, Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice or the Des Moines County Humane Society.
