It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Ray Lewis of Burlington, Iowa, born in Neelyville, Missouri, who passed away on August 28, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Golf and Pearly Mae Lewis; his wife Gladys Mae Burns; and his siblings, Billie Gene Hanes, Herman Lewis and Brenda Lewis.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Bridges, Nathaniel Bridges, Robert Brown, Jr., Richard Brown, Patricia Brown, Cora Cratton, Lathan Brown and Joyce Smith; and his sisters, Evelyn Holloway (Willie) and Lucille Chaney. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Greater Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
