She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin George and Goldie Marie Haifley Remaly; her daughters, Barbara Diercks, Jeri Moberg and Amy Jo Martin; her sons-in-law, J. K. Martin, Sterling Scott and Dean Morberg; her grandson Carl Mundt; and her sister Helen Burrell.
She is survived by: her husband Delbert Milton Diercks; and her children, Ronald Diercks (Donna) of Burlington and Becky Kemp of Fort Madison. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
