It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrol Schwarm (Burlington, Iowa), born in Saint Peter, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Charles and Irene Jasper Schwarm; and his brother Glen Schwarm. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Marie Johnson of Burlington; his children, David Schwarm of Burlington, Ted Schwarm (Jill) of Cedar Falls, IA, Debra Allen (Perry) of Denver, CO and Karen Russell (Kevin) of Burlington; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Schwarm (Judy) of Bettendorf and Faye Spann (Don) of Burns, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established for the Carrol Schwarm Memorial Fund that will be used for the care of the Old Loogootee Cemetery.
