He was predeceased by: his parents, Justin Wilton and Emma Lorena Wilton (McGuirk); and his sisters, Kathryn Harding and Zada Wilton. He is survived by: his son Matt Strauser (Wrema) of North Liberty, Iowa; his grandchildren, Dalton, Lauren and Justin; and his siblings, Justina Schultz (Garry) of Council Bluffs, Cora Foglesong of North Platte and Mark Wilton (Dotti) of Oregon.
A memorial fund has been established for Des Moines County Humane Society.
