She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Suchy and Helen Suchy (Geiger); and her sister Judy Haag. She is survived by: her husband Jon Sharp of Burlington; and her children, Bill Dickens (Rachel) of West Burlington, Ben Geren (Doris) of Marion, Iowa and Andie Gerst (Bob) of Mediapolis. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and one step-great grandchild.
Memorials have been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society and the Alzheimer's Association.
