He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Fritz and Arleen Fritz; his wife Charlotte Ilene Varvel; and his brothers, Howard Fritz, Duane Fritz and Verald Fritz.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Fritz, Jennifer Fritz, Amy Bourbon, Jamie Fritz, Jack Butcher, Carl Johnson, Jan Tolasoff and Lisa Forristall. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
