He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Kristina Allen (David) of West Point, Elizabeth Trexel (Matt) of Burlington and Brandon Howard (Megan) of Middletown; his grandchildren, Steven, Autumn, Lidiya, Mitchell Trexel, Eliza, Micah and Jonah Howard; his great grandchild Josiah Trexel; and his siblings, Jim Howard, Clarence "Fred" Howard (Sherry), Joseph Zippe and Nancy Zippe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
