He was predeceased by: his parents, Cedric Ellerbroek and Darlene Ellerbroek (Headings) of Sheldon; and his sister Lea Ann. He is survived by: his children, Erin Ellerbroek of Burlington, Justin Ellerbroek (Alena) of Cedar Falls, Michael Ellerbroek (Anna) of Rockford, IL and Rachel Dohr (David) of Hoffman Estates, IL; his grandchildren, Keira, Jenna, Lucy, Poppy, Dawson and Nolan; and his siblings, Cheryl Miller (Ed) of Cedar Rapids, Carla Boyle (Jim) of San Diego, Janet Tatman (Steve) of Sioux Falls, SD, Kent Ellerbroek (Barb) of Sioux Falls and Mark Ellerbroek (Dianna) of Ely, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established for First Christian Church.
