It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan J. Pfeifer of Burlington, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Doyle Pfeifer and Melvine Hixson Graham. He is survived by : his wife Kay Pfeifer; his sons, Mitch Pfeifer of Burlington, Derrick Pfeifer (Kelly) of Burlington and Adam Pfeifer (Katlyn) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Kaylea, Julian, Logan, Alyssa, Aidan, Ashley, Phoebe, Nick and Sydney; and his great grandchild Isaak.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for his family.

“Dearest Kay and family, So sorry for your loss. May God guide your through this difficult time and hold you in his loving arms as he is our father and will give the family strength. I have fond memories of Dan and watched in awe as he cut and styled hair. , always with a smile and a good chat. When I get to heaven, I will dance , sing, and laugh with Dan.
