He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Wolbert and Rosalie Sodergren Wolbert; and his sister Donna Wunderlich. He is survived by: his wife Corinne Wolbert of Burlington; his children, Brian Wolbert (Kim) of Eldridge, IA and Lucia Francis (Steve) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Samara Green (James), Jonathan Wolbert (Autumn), John Francis and Elizabeth Willson (Everett); his brother-in-law Gary Wunderlich; and his nephew Justin Wunderlich. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Aspen Grove Cemetery (2043 Sunnyside Ave, Burlington, IA 52601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the SCC Booster Club and Community Foundation.
