David Almendinger Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth John and Pauline Melba Peterson Almendinger; his wife Candy Lynn Hale; his stepdaughter Michelle Schnicker; his brother Kenneth Almendinger Jr.; and his pet Nikita.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Almendinger (Shannon) of Cedar Rapids, Mike Almendinger of Burlington and Davie Almendinger, Jr. (Kayla) of Burlington; his stepdaughters, Reba Hale of Big Fork, MT and Priscilla Larson of Burlington; his sister Mary Granaman of Burlington; and his pet Prince. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601).
A memorial has been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House.
