Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father William Charles; and his spouse Jo-Etta Renee Chambers. He is survived by: his mother Idella Oline Olson Bowen of Burlington; his sons, Donald Bowen (Sarah) of Burlington, Dennis Bowen of Burlington and Chris Pilkington (Marines) of Swansea, SC; and his sister Rebecca Roxanne Stevens of Burlington. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
