He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon George and Dorothy Verona Younk Kemp; and his wife Maureen Charlotte Mannion. He is survived by: his children, Monica Kemp of Burlington, Leah Virginia Droz (Byron) of Burlington, Siobhan McNulty of Bend, OR, Aziel R. Kemp of Iowa and Nakoa Kemp of Iowa; and his sister Linda Turley of Burlington. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601).
