He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Archer and Wilamina Goldene Mattox Archer; and his father-in-law Joseph Magno. He is survived by: his wife Della Anne Archer of Burlington; his sons, Joe Archer (Kay) of Hiawatha and Tyler Archer (Shannon) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Mason, Reece, Sawyer and Lauren; his siblings, Sue Clifton (Ray), Stuart White (Janice) and Steve White; his mother-in-law Jeanette Magno of Schaumburg, IL.; and his caregivers, Amanda of Neurology, Dr. Walter Downey MD, Dr Valerie Denz, Teresa Morehead and Day Hospital.
He was a generous person and donated to a number of organizations that touched his heart.
