It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy May Thompson of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Ellsworth and Beulah May Seitz Gaylord; her husband Carl Edward Harris; her son-in-law Mark Freyling; and her siblings, Donald, John, LaVerne, Gerald, Beverly and Sarah.
She is survived by: her former husband Charles Layton Thompson; her daughters, Debra Barnes, Carla Harris, Bobbi Tapscott, Toni Martin, Lisa Freyling (Mark) and Connie Hunt-Jacobs (Jared); her sister Doris Bock; and her sibling's children, Susan Brown, Joyce Cook, Donald Cook Jr., Shane Gaylord and Cyndi Kendall. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, (with 2 on the way), 6 great great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the Burlington Midwest Magic.
