Duane Arthur Sourwine Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Duane Arthur Sourwine of Burlington, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2024 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Duane Arthur Sourwine to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Lee and Dorothy Mary Wolf Sourwine; his wife Janice Louise Humphries; and his grandson Nathan Michael Lerud. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Shipley of Burlington and Tamara Levinson (Brent) of Burlington; his stepdaughter Heidi Brown of Fort Madison; his siblings, Ronald Sourwine (Reta) of Florida and Victoria Sourwine (Ron) of Burlington; and his pet Baxter. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Divine Mercy Parish and for Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
