Erma Isom Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 25, 2025, at the age of 84, Erma Isom of Burlington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Erma farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Erma is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus Williams and Dovie Moon Williams; her sister LeVern Brown; and her grandchildren, Octavius Willform, Ichabod Purnell and Semaja Willfrom.
She is survived by: her children, Ossie Willfrom of Cleveland, OH, Kelvin Willform of Burlington, Jermain Willform of Cedar Rapids, Dovie Purnell of Burlington and Octavia Rees of Burlington; and her siblings, Jerry Williams (Jackie) of Burlington and Mae Frances McQuay of Calumet City, IL. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
