With solemn reverence, we commemorate Evelyn Dornberg of Burlington, Iowa, whose life came to an end on May 4, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Appleman and Tess Appleman; her husband Joe Dornberg; her sisters, Sara Schatz and Sylvia Fine Heller; and her great grandchild Mason Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barb Overhake (Ed) and Judy Leitch; her grandchildren, Dana Anderson (Tim), Erin Roberts (Cole) and Joanna Leitch; and her great grandchildren, Alexis Roberts and Elliot Anderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice or the Stead Family Children's Hospital at the University of Iowa.
