He was predeceased by: his parents, Glendon DeJaynes and Goldie DeJaynes; his wife Roberta L. Dodds; his son Dr. Jason DeJaynes; and his siblings, Chalmer DeJaynes, Arnold DeJaynes, Paul DeJaynes and Glenda Steele.
He is survived by: his sons, Jared DeJaynes of Burlington and Joel DeJaynes (Hadley); his grandchildren, Harper DeJaynes and Callum DeJaynes; and his sister JoAnn Whisler (Lowell) of Altoona. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
