She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Charles and Lucy May Springsteen Rappenecker; her husband John Francis McCartney; and her siblings, William, Edward, Robert, Donald, Phillip, Mary and Margaret.

She is survived by: her children, John Edward McCartney (Khris Hall) of New Fairfield, Connecticut and Jenny Lee McCartney of Columbus, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jason McCartney (Andrea) of Coralville, Iowa, Karessa Kavanaugh (Dave) of San Francisco, California and Kyrene Konopolsky (Adam) of Hoboken; her stepgrandchildren, Terra Gallop of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, Morgan Gallop of Irvine, California and Elisse Takara of Honolulu, HI; her great grandchildren, Ginger, Kaylee and Leah; and her stepgreat-grandson Asher. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Masks and social distancing will be required due to Covid-19.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
