She was predeceased by: her parents, George Waterman and Viola Bundy Waterman; her son Brace Bigger Jr.; and her sisters, Edith Crawford, Kate Waterman and Pearl Mabe.

She is survived by: her children, Candy Van Dorin (Shane) of Omaha, NE, Sandy Ferry of Burlington, IA, Michael Bigger of Fort Madison, IA and George Bigger; her grandchildren, Cassandra Ferry, Shantel Hendrix, Andrew Brobston, Darsea Glenn, Cody Van Dorin and Jayme Bigger; and her siblings, Edna Keever of Gladstone, IL, Georgia Walker (Ronald) of Burlington and Ernie Waterman (Betty) of Stronghurst, IL.. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in Burlington.
