He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Winstead and Juanita Barnes Winstead; his daughter Lori; and his siblings, Nancy, Dewey and Linda.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Oglesby; his children, Jeff Winstead of Burlington, Brian Winstead (Donna) of Pontiac, IL, Lloyd Winstead (Christa) of Burlington and Rikki Garrett of Burlington; and his siblings, Doug Winstead (Paula) of St. Louis, MO, Daisy Cunningham of Pontiac, IL and Tallulah Scott (Tim) of Pontiac, IL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild.
A memorial has been established for local veterans organizations.
