She was predeceased by : her parents, Percy Buckley and Bessie Buckley (Porter); her husband Bernard "Bernie" Merrill; her daughters, Shelly and Sue Carr; her sons-in-law, Bob Bence and Gary Carr; and her siblings, Rosemary Sanburg, Barbara Dapshis and Frank Buckley.

She is survived by : her daughters, Marsha Bence of Burlington and Roxanne Osbourne (Mac) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Bill Bence (Melanie), Tami Hibbs (Larry), Chad Carr (April), Ryan Osbourne (Nicole), Nathan Carr, Adam Osbourne (Jenna) and Kristin Levinson (Colter); her great grandchildren, Brandon Hibbs, Taylor Carr, Noah Hibbs (Izzy), Ethan Bence, Lucas Carr, Penelope Osbourne, Bethany Bence, Kenlee Levinson, Milo Osbourne, Cru Levinson, Lola Osbourne and Rowan Osbourne; and her close friend Betty McPherson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
