He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Neal and Doris Darlene Steele (Andries). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Howard of Burlington; his children, Jeannie Steele of Burlington, Timothy Steele (Kristen) of Brandon and Shane Steele (Amanda) of McHenry, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Dax, Xaniel, Olivia, Kimberly, Xaiden, Harrison and Owen; his great grandchild Araceli; and his brother Ron Steele of Burlington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
