He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Waugh and Ethel V. Waugh (Kurka); his wife Virginia K. Galbraith; and his sister Suzanne Ridge. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen E. Waugh of Des Moines, IA and Matthew W. Waugh (Julie) of Smyrna, TN; his grandson Parker James Waugh; and his brother John Waugh (Janice) of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Alzheimer's Association and Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House.
