It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Elizabeth Gustafson of Burlington, Iowa, born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Middleton and Ruth Middleton; her husband Warren D. Gustafson of Burlington; and her stepparents, Dicke Obe and Thelma Middleton.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Gustafson of Fort Madison, Paul Gustafson of Centerview, Missouri and Ann Gustafson Leach (Jim) of Andrews, Texas; her grandchildren, Janey Leach and Brett Leach of Andrews, Texas; her stepgrandchildren, Kelli Morales (David) of Battle Creek, Greg Leach (Marsha) of Pleasanton and Kayla Orsak (Evan) of Austin, Texas; and her stepsister Linda Peterson of Eagle Grove. She is also survived by six step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Des Moines County Humane Society and Grace United Methodist Church.
