She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Bain and Minnie Peterson (Rich); her stepfather Loren Peterson; and her grandson Patrick. She is survived by: her husband Russ; her children, Mathieu Hobbs of Burlington, Christine Dye (Mark) of Burlington, Brent Heinz (Jill) of Burlington and Amy Heinz of Des Moines; her grandsons, Ben, Alex and Nick; and her siblings, Ricky Peterson of Wisconsin, Linda Metcalf (Steve) of Oakville and Cheryl Hembry of Emerson, Iowa.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lunning Funeral Chapel (2620 Mt Pleasant St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in her memory for the Iowa. Special Needs Foundation.
