She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Bain and Minnie Peterson (Rich); her stepfather Loren Peterson; and her grandson Patrick. She is survived by: her husband Russ; her children, Mathieu Hobbs (Linda) of Burlington, Christine Dye (Mark) of Burlington, Brent Heinz (Jill) of Burlington and Amy Heinz of Des Moines; her grandsons, Ben, Alex and Nick; and her siblings, Ricky Peterson of Wisconsin, Linda Metcalf (Steve) of Oakville and Cheryl Hembry of Emerson, Iowa.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in her memory for the Iowa. Special Needs Foundation.
