He is survived by: his parents, Steve Whalen and Deb Whalen; his brothers, Tracy Whalen (Holly), Steve Whalen and Ed Whalen (Cynthia); his children, Ryne Whalen (Ruth Reed) of Burlington, Haley Whalen of Burlington and Oakley Whalen of Mediapolis, Iowa.; and his grandson Karter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
