Jim Nelson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Nelson of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on December 1, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Nelson and Nelly Janzen Nelson; his brothers, Robert and Ronald; and his niece Connie.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Larkins; his children, Jimmy Nelson, Dawn Rogerson (Matt) and Heather Ellis (Edwin); his grandchildren, Morgan Sykes (Jarrett), Reagan Atteberry (Jaron), Nathan Nelson, Keaton Chambers, Taran Nelson (Michaela), Kimber Ellis, Colt Ellis and Kobe Chambers; his sister Caroline Hoover; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Nelson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial has been established for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
