With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Larson of Burlington, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Hassell Herman Garrett. She is survived by: her husband Keith Larson; her daughters, Sarah Modrell (Ry Vold), Emily Weyls (Derek Burns), Abby Hagerla (Tyler) and Chelsea Amundson (Ryan); her grandchildren, Gabrielle Modrell (Blake Leatherwood), Dylan Modrell (Kyia Martin), Killian, Xander Burns, Max, Mia, Ace Hagerla, Ryker, Sawyer and Cayson Amundson; her parents-in-law, Karen Penning and Jim Larson; her siblings, Scott Garrett (Chris) and Rita Carlson (Mark); her sisters-in-law, Angie Borst and Amy Hicok (Bill); Marilyn Garrett. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles cousins, nieces and nephews.
