He was predeceased by: his parents, Bronislaw Gayewski and Regina S. Sedlak Gayewski; his wife Ruth Ann Miller; and his siblings, Barney, Jean, Mary, Charlotte, Genevieve, Josie, Pauline, Mickie and Stella.
He is survived by: his children, John Gayewski, Jr. (Denise) of Burlington, Nancy Mutchler of West Burlington and Diane Ball (Keith) of Oakville; and his sisters, Viola Hojnacki of Warwick, NY and Regina Bastek of West Town, NY. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
