We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2025, at the age of 91, John Levins Sr. of Burlington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Patrick and Emily Mary French Levins; his siblings, Patrick, Artie, Donald, Russell, Norma Raschendorfer, Marilyn Weingart, Helen Rankin and Carol Phillips; his granddaughter Sarah Patterson; and his great grandchild Sabrina Marie Martinez.
He is survived by: his children, John Daniel "Danny" Levins Jr. of Burlington and Debora Patterson of Burlington; and his siblings, Le Roy Levins of Burlington, Mark Levins of Quincy, IL, Mike Levins of West Burlington, Betty Frey of Decatur, IL, Paulette Nichols of Burlington and Rosemary Loper of West Burlington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (700 Division St Suite 1, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Baptist Catholic Church (700 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601).
