He is survived by: his sister Jan Diewold-Mehaffy; his nephew Paul DeWitt (Maria); his great-nephew Noah DeWitt; his nephew James DeWitt; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cameron, James DeWitt and Eddie Wasson.
